It was definitely a make-again! This is a great winter Sunday dinner. This traditional Irish stew recipe can be cooked in the crock pot or oven. I followed the recipe exactly then served over mashed potatoes. Add onion, thyme, and rosemary; sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The lamb was so tender, almost melted in your mouth! We absolutely loved this stew! I was worried about the turnips but they added a nice earthiness to the dish.
